The Pilgrims Ranch of Santa Cruz, leaves for his Lenten pilgrimage during the fifth week of Lent. Like all other ranches, he always walks with the sea to his left and runs along the São Miguel island clockwise. Leave at dawn, before the sun rises, and enter for the night in the localities at sundown. They return to the Parish Community and their families on Saturday before Palm Sunday.
